Lines: 13 Could anyone using a 32 bit 'C' compiler on a PC (i.e. 386) give some recommendations? Are they really twice the MIPS of 16 bit compilers? What about MFLOPS - any difference ? Which brand is most 'portable'? What about their requirement of/interface to DOS EXTENDERS ? Comparisons to SCO Xenix, or other 386 ~Unix 'C' compilers / output ? Interfaces to operating system (DOS or other), etc., etc. This topic hasn't seen much discussion here, or in other groups. Is it because no one is using the 32 bit compilers on PC AT machines? Thanks for any info., Michael Finegan mfinegan@uceng.uc.edu
