Headset for what purpose?     If this is for voice commanding a computer,
a ham radio store will have radio headsets that may be adapted.  If you
are looking for a telephone headset, then from past experience, the 
cheap ones are CHEAP.  Get a Plantronics catalog and go shopping.  They
have models for just about every phone application.  Not all phones
are created equal, be sure you get one that is compatible.
