There is a newsgroup for discussing embedded/realtime systems.  Its called
'comp.realtime'.  Unfortunately, it has turned out to be mostly for talking
about the VxWorks embedded kernal and for people who are looking for new
cross-development systems.  Still, it has had some interesting topics,
so this is where you should look for embedded systems issues.
