The symposia on Computer Hardware Description Languages take place every two
years:

	1979 - Palo Alto, sponsored by the IEEE Computer Society
	1981 - Kaiserslautern FRG, sponsored by IFIP WG 10.2
	1983 - Pittsburgh, sponsored by IFIP WG 10.2
	1985 - Tokyo, Japan, sponsored by IFIP WG 10.2
	1987 - Amsterdam, The Netherlands, sponsored by IFIP WG 10.2
	1989 - Washington DC, sponsored by IFIP WG 10.2

The proceedings of the 1979 meetings were published by the computer society.
Since 1981 the proceedings have been published by North-Holland.

The 1991 meeting will take place in France (either Grenoble or Marseilles,
to be decided early next year.)
