I am told that the compaq patch should fix my problems, but the patch is for AT class machines. Also, the patch appears to fix problems in status reporting which is not the problem I am having. I now have tech specs from Toshiba including information about the hard disk drivers. I'm interested in writing, or modifying a disk driver for the toshiba hard drive. Can someone give me some pointers on where to begin? Jim Barbour -- Systems administrator / programmer -- C.U. Computing Center.
