Ok, I'm slightly stupid sometimes..... In my previous posting about Timbuktu and the IIci, it did not occur to me to try to trick the IIci into thinking a monitor was attached. It turns out that if you ground pin 4 on the video cable, then the IIci thinks a monitor is attached and Timbuktu functions. Thanks to Tom Lafleur (lafleur@qualcomm.com) for the suggestion. So, to summarize: IIci, System 6.0.4, Timbuktu 3.0f3, works if you ground pin 4 on the video cable for the internal video. No Nubus video card or monitor needed.
