 The new IBM 3174 Controller microcode, Configuration Support B,
 requires a 2.4MB diskette drive instead of the 1.2 MB drive.  IBM
 is pleased to sell me these at $716 each.

 Has anyone tried using some compatible diskette drive to serve this
 function?  PC diskette drives seem to go for about $80/each.
