Several of the commercial and non-commercial TCP/IP packages support SLIP as
defined in RFC 1055 (Serial Line IP - uses standard asynch hardware).  You'd
need to set up something to be the other end, but many Unices and terminal
concentrators can do this.

Almost all of the DOS TCP/IPs have FTP clients (PC-IP doesn't).  Many of them
also have servers.
