I like SCCS because it has a "fix" command. I don't recall there being one in RCS. But RCS has a $Log$ keyword which I like. (The interaction of these two features may be related. How do you delete a $Log$ entry when you need to do a "fix"?) Also, I understand that RCS stores the last version of the file and deltas to previous versions, while SCCS stores the first version and deltas from then onward. Since you usually check out the latest version of a file, RCS is probably a little faster.
