A related problem: I'm getting tired of having the same problem with pack/compress/compact/..., and I'm considering a better solution than either a prefix or suffix: % ls foo.c % pack foo.c foo.c: 32% compression. % ls foo.c/ % ls foo.c packed % ls -a foo.c ./ ../ packed % unpack foo.c foo.c: Unpacked. % ls foo.c Comments?
