The introduction of the high-end 68020 based A2500, the excellent 1.3 AmigaDOS complete with a nice manual, the continued commitment to compatibility (We A1000 owners salute you!), the lack of vapor-ware, the promise of a new ad campaign on the horizon, etc. After scanning through comp.sys.atari.st I shudder to think of what might have happened had I bought an ST (1.4 TOS is out - $100 & no documentation included). Good work all! Keep it up! On a more technical note: Has anyone considered tackling the problem of translating AmigaDOS scripts into Arexx code? [I haven't had much chance to examine this closely but I wanted to toss this out]. Sounds like a nice graduate or upper-division project, eh? Or, better yet, an Arexx compiler! [I can dream, can't I? :) ] Time for bed. -- ---------------------------------------------------------------------- John Lindwall johnl@tw-rnd.SanDiego.NCR.COM "Above opinions are my own, not my employer's" PenPal V1.1 for sale: $90.
