In workbench 1.3 (NOT 1.3.2), one can get a fairly severe guru (wb locks up,
crash back to KS, ...) by doing the following:
Click on disk in external drive, choose "Rename" from menu, remove disk,
change name in box, press return.  MemWatch reports the *NULL gets stomped,
WB locks up (altho other stuff runs) and upon C-A-A or sometimes
other stuff, the machine crashes back to KS.  
Amiga 1000, KS1.3, WB1.3, 512Chip, 2.0Meg fast, SyQuest HD, 2 floppies.
