I like what is used in the 4Sight window manager (Silicon Graphics Iris workstation NeWS/X11R3 based). I actually like the 3.1 version better (because all three buttons had unique functions), but the 3.2 version is more approprite for the 2-button Amiga: There are two gadgets in the title bar -- close and iconify; the whole window border (including title-bar) is the click-to-front (left button) gadget (if the mouse didn't move before button release), or window drag (middle button or move with left button); there is a sizing gadget in each corner; right button brings up a pop-up menu with all functions + push, quit & resize. It would be nice to add some method of indicating the rows & columns (either characters for a single-font window, or pixels for a graphics/multi-font window) while sizing. -- Scott Henry | Tardis Express -- when it Information Services, | absolutely, positively Silicon Graphics, Inc | has to be there -- yesterday.
