But that's not the sort of "space" I care about saving. You can put the kitchen sink in the title bar and so long as it doesn't make it taller I could care less. But if you put anything in any other border you have to thicken the whole border to make room. Putting sizing gadgets in all corners are a good idea, but do it like Microsoft Windows: the whole border is thickened, and grabbing the border anywhere lets you resize the window.
