When I got my copy of the first quarterly Call-APPLE, there was an
addendum explaining that no orders for the catalog would be taken
after Sept 31. Being already October when I got the issue, I was
somewhat chagrined. But they mentioned some blurb about competition,
mail order houses, implications that there were other places that had
better prices. 

Where are these places? Places I could get Apple //gs manuals for $17
and Orca/M for $35? I have seen nothing like this in the mail-order
houses I see typically in Incider or Nibble....
