I haven't had the problem mentioned with the program hanging. I _have_ had another problem, however. Occassionally, MS gets stuck playing a note and won't stop short of quitting the program. Has anyone ever heard of this before and, if so, what causes it and what is the solution? I also just got Thexder. I really like it but the version I have (I bought the original + docs used, so it's an older version) can't use the joystick. I seem to remember something about a newer version that can use the joystick. Does anyone know anything about this? Finally, I see that First Class Peripherals is advertising a SCSI card for their drives that they claim "will allow your Sider to operate an incredible Twelve [sic] (12) times faster." This sounds too good to be true to me. Does anyone have any experience w/ this? I got their driver for the Sider D4a that was supposed to double the speed of the drive, but I have seen a much small increase, only. Does it really work 12X faster or some fraction thereof? Do you think it's worth the $150 for the new card? Thanks in advance. Kevin Lepard Bitnet: Sasquatch@albion.bitnet
