Well Joe I don't want to quibble with the 1 billion figure but that figure
may very well include peripherals(used by both lines),school sales(System 5 is
exactly what they need for networking purposes),... .I am not convinced that
Apple is not supporting the GS(if you think it's bad in the US then come to
Canada).What do you want from the GS(apart from the obvious video issues)?

Not everyone needs a speed demon.TWGS(I have the 7MHz) version in a box about
to be installed as soon as I receive the ROM3 computer).

The printer drivers will be improved,I assume, as part of Apple's revamping of
its printing stategies(based on Quickdraw,"Royal" font,...).People can get a
TWGS.The GS is open to adaptation to ones' needs.That is exactly its strength.
The Mac is far less flexible.Any modification does not come cheap.

Really of course the GS can be made MUCH better. You seem to have customized a
pretty powerful setup.The missing links are better video,and easier file
exchange.(apart from the printer issue).
