I have a couple questions about Apple IIgs-format fonts. 1. Does the IIgs support "true" italic and bold versions of fonts? Times italic, for example, looks much different on the laserwriter than it does on the screen when you italicize the plain Times font. 2. Is there a way to convert Mac-format fonts to the IIgs? I have access to several screen fonts in Macintosh format and would like to use them on my IIgs. Is there a utility which performs this conversion? Perhaps some tweaking I could perform on my own? 3. Can I access other fonts on the laserwriter besides Times and Helvetica? I want to try using Bookman and Zapf Dingbats. Also, I'm curious about being able to convert files in Macintosh PICT format (object oriented, not pixel-oriented) to the Apple IIgs. Isn't there also a PICT format on the IIgs? How compatible are the two? Thanks in advance for your help! Bill Marriott Lou@cup.portal.com
