First: I have a standard 520 St w/40 meg supra HD. will I get more life out of my drive if I leave it on all the time (except during storms, o'course) or is it okay two power it down when I'm not using the system ? ( I power up 2 to 3 times a day). Should/could I leave the whole system on all the time ? I'd really like to know so's I can keep my HD going for years and years and years and yea...(bap!!!) Second: After I've been typing for Oh...say 10 mins or so the key click sound gets louder then dies, maybe to fade in and out a few times but mostly it stays quite until I power down then back up (reset don't do a thing). Is this my sound chip(whatever they named it) or are the key clicks some other hardware? -- uucp: mcnc!rti!sunpix!steve or mcnc!rti!sunpix!allegro |Stephen McKay Matson "FRODO LIVES!!"
