I'm new to the HP 3000 environment and am wondering if there are any utilities that could include a *good* editor (p/d or shareware) or any other utilites that would be useful. I'm used to mostly PC environments, and the MPE V environment just doesn't seem to have much flexibility. This older-type architecture (record lengths et al.) has much to be desired... but one works with what one has. On a sidenote, has anyone used, or has heard of, a product called Speedware? It's a 4GL for this machine. Out of curiosity, what is the chip-set of the HP3000 GX micro series? HP Proprietary? Thanks for any info... Dan. -- -------------- | Dan Keizer | --------------
