I am posting this request for a friend who does not have access to the
net. He is looking for a 9-track tape drive, controller, and controlling
software combination for use in an AT compatible running DOS 3.3.

Is there any such thing currently available commercially? My friend is
willing to entertain offers of used equipment as long as such equipment
still works.
