Well, 5.1 has one thing which will definitely not work with 4.0.  OS/2 support.  The linker is supposed to be better, the Microsoft editor
is incuded, which also comes with a PROTECTED mode version.  This was the
first decent OS/2 editor I was able to get ahold of.  The compile times
appear faster to me, in both DOS and OS/2, but I haven't actually tested
this.
