I have a Compac 386 in which I have a compac VGA card, a Western Digital Ethernet card, and thats all... The Incompatibility is in the software that I am using... I use Harvard Graphics, Ventura Publisher, and TCP/IP. The Problem: When I use Harvard Graphics WITHOUT the TCP/IP drivers loaded, something strange happens.. I cannot type 'E's and 'F8' does not work properly. When the drivers are loaded, all is fine. I also use another VGA card from NEC. But TCP/IP will not run with that card installed for some reason. I think it is the Base address used by the VGA card, but am not sure... Does anyone know any solutions to these problems? Also, I have to take all drivers out of memory when using Ventura (it is a memory hog, and wont run with TCP/IP loaded.) Help... Email please...
