Got an interesting problem: Our current configuration is
IBM RT Model 25 running AIX 2.1.2, DOS coprocessor, IBM PC-Network
1.10 . We want to upgrade our AIX to 2.2.1 . However, the DOS coprocessor
is no longer supported with AIX 2.2.1--it has been replaced by the
IBM DOS Simualtor 1.1 . But IBM says the IBM PC-Network is not supported
by the IBM PC-Simulator and the Base Network Services of AIX 2.2.1 .
Does anybody have any ideas as to how we could bring up IBM PC Network
under AIX 2.2.1 . We do not have the funding to replace our existing
network with a Token Ring or an Ethernet.
