For those familiar with the PostScript language, ATM can handle the equivalent of the matrix passed to the 'makefont' operator. QuickDraw does not yet offer an application interface to specify these attributes. ATM on the Mac therefore has a special application interface which allows applications to pass this data directly to ATM. We are currently in the process of documenting that interface so all applications can take advantage of this functionality.
