It is copy protected, and comes with every- thing in Spanish (Spell checker, etc.). Back in my country (where it is being used), my father has not received any notification of upgrade availability. But we had to go to Spain to buy the Spanish version (last year). And the price was about US$200 higher than your usual mail-order... Maybe if you have MS word and you are a registered user, the mighty Microsoft Corp. might send you the spanish spell checker (at least).
