Speaking of Apple and the quake....a friend of mine who is the Apple
Student Rep at one of the universities in the area told me that he
got a call from Apple at 5am.  He was informed that Apple would have
some difficulties meeting the delivery deadlines for the systems he
sold on the university's purchase program.  They told him to be ready
for people who would be angry, but explain that this is due to the
quake.....
