Wow! I've got one of the things, and I didn't know it had a 5-year warranty! I've been having connect problems (it absolutely wants to hear a ring signal first, which doesn't always happen, and a/ doesn't work for redialing). But this was after 2, maybe 3 years... I thought modems just got old and grey and started to misbehave.
