Description:

Trying to boot the miniroot off of the SunOS 4.0.3 installation tape on a
Sun 4/280S with an ALM-II installed results in a kernel panic `BAD TRAP'.

Repeat-By:

Fix:

Rebuild the miniroot with the streams patch from YAPT 5.5c.  (BEGIN
SARCASTIC FLAME -- Gosh, now which file system did I leave my SunOS
sources on today?  Silly me, Sun isn't Berkeley you don't get source.  Oh
well, no sane person would ever need to boot the miniroot with an ALM-II
