Fine. When I get this mail, the From line in the mail header has only the date, no username. I also noticed when crontab runs a command that rwall's a message, the message appears on the console as "Message from ??@red...". So my question: who runs user cron jobs and why don't mail, rwall, and probably others get it right? Is there some way to fix this? Thanks.
