This may seem like a silly thing to complain about -- but i have observed
that telnet will write its "Connections closed ..." message OVER the final
line already present.  This may obscure some logout information or other
message from the remote host.  I have not observed this problem in the
versions of telnet run on any VMS systems I have used -- is this
particular to SUN?

Why can't they do a CR/LF before they write the message?  Is there
anything that can be done?
