Lines: 23 I tried to use a parallel cable from a Leading Edge Model D (which I assume is IBM compatible in that respect) on my 3000HL (original model). When I try to initiate printing, nothing happens - except that the DOS prompt returns after a delay. Is the parallel cable for the 3000HL different from those used on IBM PCs and compatibles? The Leading Edge cable will be returned eventually to the friend from whom I borrowed it, but I'd like to hold off buying one until absolutely necessary. Any help would be greatly appreciated. --- George Klimes Graduate Student, Computer Science George Mason University -- BITNET =====> GKLIMES@GMUVAX INTERNET ===> GKLIMES@GMU90X.GMU.EDU UUCP =======> multiverse!uunet!pyrdc!gmu90x!gklimes (Well, I THINK it is!)
