We have an application using X and OSF/motif that we would like to be able to test in a more consistent and robust manner than hiring someone to sit in front of a workstation and verify output. Also, i have seen comments on the net indicating that the XSendEvent request has too high an overhead to use with much frequency. I would guess that in special cases such as generating the correct sequence of events to automatically test a window application in a consistent manner that this overhead might be acceptable. Does anyone have any thoughts about this? Thanks - Mark McCourt
