Message-ID: <13128@garnet.BBN.COM> Date: 17 Oct 89 18:42:19 GMT Distribution: comp Organization: BBN Laboratories Incorporated, Cambridge, MA Lines: 12 I'd like to take some code that is currently running on a Sun workstation, written in C, and using X windows, and port it to a '386 PC running DOS, using VGA. Apart from the obvious problem of memory utilization, can this be done? Does anyone already have an MS-DOS version of the X libraries? Do any of the MS-DOS X server implementations (such as XSight from Locus), support X clients running locally? Is this a bad idea? Your thoughts would be appreciated. Herb Lison
