I'm having similar problems on a VAX w/ g++ 1.34.2 & gdb 3.1.1 & gdb+ 2.8.1 (gdb+ just to be sure...). Symptoms: gdb: invalid symtab info for method at symbol number 21 dbx: ...dbx: internal error: unexpected value 47 at line 941 in file stabstring.c gdb+: Invalid symbol data: unrecognized type-code `#' at symtab pos 105. If anybody cares I can * Poke around to find out what's going on (if somebody gives me some help). * Ship off the sources for the failing program. * Ignore the problem (assuming it's been fixed). * Take other suggestions about what I should do. ;-D on ( Another message by de bugger ) Pardo -- pardo@cs.washington.edu {rutgers,cornell,ucsd,ubc-cs,tektronix}!uw-beaver!june!pardo
