Message-ID: <341@cs.nps.navy.mil> Date: 20 Oct 89 21:30:49 GMT Sender: news@cs.nps.navy.mil Reply-To: jxxl@cs.nps.navy.mil () Organization: Naval Postgraduate School, Monterey CA Lines: 11 Our faculty here has requested a local newsgroup which only they could access. We use rn on our news server and rrn on our other network hosts. I can't see a straightforward way of doing this. Am I overlooking some- thing obvious or is this kind of security too different from what the news system is intended to allow? If the answer to the last part is yes, is there some other publicly available software that would accomplish the same result? Thanks for any advice. E-mail replies are fine. I'll post a summation if the subject proves to be of general interest.
