One problem remains:  newsreaders like Gnews and NN do not use the .newsrc
format.  One of the biggest gripes against NN (still, to my knowledge,
unanswered) was that it didn't automatically maintain the .newsrc for the use
of arbitron, etc.  How do you propose to deal with this?
