Hello,
  I am the system administrator for our Department and I am interested
in obtaining better NNTP connectivity.  If you are on the Internet and
are interested in having another NNTP neighbor please drop me a line.
I currently have connections with several of the major sites (and am
slowly moving my way up in the "Top 1000 newsites" as posted from
decwrl - last month I was at #9 :-).  If you already have a connection
with any of the machines I already have connections to then it probably
isn't worth us getting a connection (unless you really want to  :-).
My major NNTP connections are:

tut.cis.ohio-state.edu, apple.com, usc.edu, ginosko.samsung.com,
brutus.cs.uiuc.edu, uakari.primate.wisc.edu, rpi.edu, uwm.edu,
wuarchive.wustl.edu
