	A friend and I have started noticing lots of Golden Plovers
around campus staking out their favorite patches of grass for the
winter.  I am not sure how long they have been around, I just
began noticing them.
	It will be fun to watch they change colors next spring
in the month before they leave.  They are really dull now.
