The Asian/Pacific Islander affected group (commonly called Orientals) has achieved a high degree of penetration in the workforce. As a result, some companies are redirecting their efforts to identify minority candidates and ensure their representation in the hiring process. In short, we seem to be reaching a steady state with respect to Asians coming into the workforce. Which makes less necessary the efforts to make sure they are represented. This, I think, is a Good Thing. -- Marcel-Franck Simon mingus@attunix.ATT.COM, attunix!mingus " Papa Loko, ou se' van, ou-a pouse'-n ale' Nou se' papiyon, n'a pote' nouvel bay Agwe' "
