He admitted further that he didn't know the specifics of the problem. It was only last night that I picked up a copy of Risks Digest and found a more detailed description of the problem there. It's in issue 9.34. If anyone's interested, but can't get hold of a copy on his own, I'll be happy to ship him one. 9.34 also contains an article about a worm that affects VMS systems and is propagated via DECnet. On another subject, I was wondering how to contact Chris Siebenmann now that the ziebmef is down.
