Message-ID: <2270@servax0.essex.ac.uk> Date: 23 Oct 89 17:09:25 GMT Sender: news@servax0.essex.ac.uk Organization: University of Essex, Colchester, UK Lines: 15 I'm trying to bring up micro-Emacs 3.10 (with patches, incidentally) on a VMS 4.7 system. I've got everything to compile but when I link there are lotsa modules missing (chcase, getffile, getnfile, initchars, isletter, islower, isupper, lowerc, lowercase, setlower, setupper, upperc, uppercase). Looking at the sources, I found most (all?) of these in char.c, only to be compiled if DIACRIT is set--which it is. Is this finger trouble on my part, or a genuine problem? Will the software only compile with the GNU C compiler. Please send any replies to alien@uk.ac.kcl.ph.ipg as my mailer is having a bad decade. :-( Adrian F.
