I have a 640 x 8-color printer (Radio Shack CGP-220), which goes well with GEM except that Digital Research never wrote a printer driver for it (and wants $1,500 for the tools just so I can write my own!!) . From what I can tell, .IMG files are substantially compressed bitmaps (with some header information), but I can't deduce enough from them to decode them. If anyone knows the format, or a resource where I can find it, I'll be able to write a .IMG file printer (almost as good as a print driver), and maybe some useful translators as well. --- Russ McFatter russ@alliant.Alliant.COM
