I-APL LTD. (International APL), 6611 Linville Drive, Weed, CALIF. 96094 (916) 938-4684 voice, Has released their version of apl called I-APL to the educational market on a shareware basis. There is some on disk documentation, and it's available for $ 6. (distribution), $ 22 with a full manual. 1. I do not know what the shareware registration costs are, (i think $ 22 includes it) 2. I do not know what the educational or copywright restrictions are. 3. I do not know anything about this software, I have not received mine yet. 4. I do not speak for the company, I have NO involvement in any way shape or form. I am merely posting this piece of info for any interested apl people. 5. I did speak to the company, moments ago. Attached are my observations. a. This appears to be a small start-up company, Let's try to help them stay in business, and pay for registrations, etc, if it is a good product at a reasonable price.... b. I spoke to ed, and he was very helpful and forthright and honest and seemed more than slightly open to discussing and working out problems etc. AL
