I suggest to try this in MS-DOS computer away from VP/IX (I am running ufgate in my own laptop). If you want to poll to foobar, I suggest to make c:\uucp\spool\foobar in both ufgate.ctl and ms-dos directory. If you are running under vp/xi, you may have unix file permission problem. If creating poll file is successful, it should show up as poll.c under \uucp\spool\foobar. My boy says, "Don't Worry.
