November 3 is the end of the promotional discount period for getting
3174 configuration support B at a discount of about 30%.

What are people doing about upgrading their older 3174-1L, 1R, and
3R controllers?

Even at a discount it costs $1,431 to upgrade a single controller
to use the Config Spt B microcode.  With lots of controllers that
can really add up.
