        Can anybody tell me how window iconification programs work?  Like
Wicon, for example, that takes any open window and substutues a smaller
window for it.  Do you delink a windows viewports for the screen's list, then
?  Thanks for the info.  (I would like to write my own, that's why I ask.

        BTW, thanks to all those who responded to my mirror image blit
question.  I now have the solution I needed.
