My two cents on this issue is this: I've used stuffit, and while it is usable, I don't like the interface. Archiving and dearchiving is one of those things that I find easier from the CLI ("zoo x snap" rather than "open archive, select all the files, then select extract"). I'm of the opinion that the archiver should be usable either way, or have two different versions. Sure, you prefer the intuition interface in this case, but you forcing your opinion on others that may not like it is just as bad as them forcing their opinion on you.
