I've been using it for about half a year now. It replaces MaxiPlan+ on my machine. I've found on the plus side that it crashes much less frequently than MaxiPlan (like almost never). It has some capablilty that isn't in MaxiPlan, most notably the ability to do project planning and to output graphics with good control of what goes where and in high resolution and to plotters (HP-GL) as well as to printers (at full printer resolution, not just pixel resolution). Negatives: it doesn't have as flexible a copy as MaxiPlan or Lotus (you can't specify row and column as relative or absolute independently: a copy is either fully relative or fully absolute) (however, it does let you copy a block while transposing rows and columns). I don't like its setup screens very well: apparently these are a holdover from its MS-DOS incarnation. It's string-processing functions are essentially non-existent. Overall, I like it better than MaxiPlan+, but I'm interested in finding out more about MaxiPlanIII to see if the offered $40 upgrade might be worth it. MaxiPlanIII is supposed to have added most of the SuperPlan features, including, I believe, ARexx support. I called Intuitive Technologies (makers of MPIII) this morning, but got an answering machine (they are in Santa Cruz, I believe...this may be significant...). Will post more if I find out...
