Shareware version of NAG no longer works since hdrive has been added. The word 'gdos' appears on screen wherever text of a certain colour is supposed to start and the calendar does not reflect the current date. I've observed that 'gdos' is also to be found in memory starting at $00000000, but only appears there after drive has been mounted/configured. Also, when 'mount' is entered alone in the CLI (i.e., not followed by a device name), it returns "missing or illegal device name gdos". PD MemWatchII program catchs an attempt to write to low memory when the binddrivers command is executed in the startup-sequence. If binddrivers is not executed (i.e. harddrive is not mounted), then everything works fine....except no hdrive :-( Is this a problem with the A590 driver or NAG (I've had no such problems with other programs....so far). And what the hell is a "gdos"? any thoughts would be appreciated... rp =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Think I'll stay in bed Rick Pim, Physics Dept.
